This has been a very special day. Today:
- I (finally) got my drivers lisence! I was soooooo nervous before the driving test, but it went really well and I passed it!! It was really scary driving to the barn alone, though. Haha.
- Butterfly turned 10! We celebrated with soda and cakes, and she got some nice Mash, carrots and apples!
- We decided that Jussi's coming back in the beginnig of May. The school couldn't afford to buy him, but they want to lease him again after the summer if I haven't sold him yet. I'm really happy that he's coming back, but I'll hate watching him leave again...
And, no, these are not April fools ;) |

We have the whole week off from school! Love winterbreak! And only three weeks after this holiday, it's easter holiday! :D And I'm going to an R.E.M concert in September. I'm not a huge fan, but since they are coming to Bergen and my mom's got tickets I don't say "No thanks" after all!
Butterfly is doing good! We've had a somehow bad week with her being in heat and having some crazy days. Hopefully she'll be better this week, or I'll give up for now. It's quite annoying to try and jump a horse who's only interest is to run as fast as she can over the jumps, and then when I try to tell her to slow down; buck... I seriously could have killed her last wednesday, and when my coach started laughing of me because I got so annoyd about her, I could have killed him as well! But else from that she's being a total sweetheart, and she's really starting to feel at home, both in her stall and with the other horses! I've got a bunch of photos of her playing with some horses, but their superhuge and PB is sooo slow when it's uploading my photos. I'll see if I'm posting them later on, but not right now...

Jussi left for his new home last Sunday... I miss him like hell already...
A school is leasing him until May next year. If I get a proper job, I hope I can take him back after that. This is after all my last year at school, but I don't know what to do afterwards. I'll probably work, earn money and show my new horse for a year or so. Then I'll probably go to the unversity or something. Only time will show for me right now.
In other news: I'm leaving for London on Sunday! We're going there on a schooltrip for a week, and I can't wait. We're trying to figure out what to see and do in our spare time(we get every afternoon off, except of one when we'll watch "We will rock you!") Anyone who has been there and has any suggestions on what to go see/do? We're living with a host family in Ealing, just outside London. Hopefully they'll be as nice as the ones we had two years ago on Isle of Wight! |

I'm leaving for Bergen in a couple of hours. There I will line up with all the other people probably standing there, waiting to buy Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. My mom says she won't leave until 11pm because "I don't care about standing in a stupid line for many hours!" I DO MOM! It's the last Harry Potter book for god's sake! I've waited TWO years for it!
And I swear, that if anyone writes here about what happens in the end, I WILL PERSONALLY HUNT YOU DOWN AND END YOUR PRESENCE ON THIS EARTH. Because when HBP came, some random person jumped by my journal to tell med that Snape killed Dumbledoor. Before I'd read it in the book. Thus only registered users can reply to my post for a couple of weeks now, so that I can hunt them down if they say something they shouldn't.
On the other hand, I'm leaving for Greece tomorrow, and I won't be back until august 5th. So don't update too much or I'll get a heck of time catching up when I get back! |

If you read my previous post, yoy know that I was quite upset about the 'not being able to see Orlando on stage in London'-thingy. Well, I've been complaining about it to everyone I know(poor people). So then the turn had come to tell my mom(she's been to Holland for the last week, so I couldn't tell her about it earlier). I told her about it, and she looked at me and said:
"I'm going over there that week/weekend for some business stuff."
You see where I'm going with this? I might actually be able to see Orlando perform LIVE! =D The only think now is for my school to agree with me possibly going over a few days earlier than the rest of the classes.

I just had to post this to show that life's going against me at the moment.
First of all, I have to have my written exam in maths. I hate maths! And I'm horrible at it!
Saturday we went to se PotC; At World's End. Say whatever you like, but MAN i L-O-V-E-D it!!(Yes! I can spell as well! :P ) So when I came home from school just now I decided to see if I could find some shots from the movie, and perhaps make a few icons. (For you all to see what I mean about 'the life being against me', I have to mention that I'm going to London on a schooltrip on the 16th of September.) The I went to www.theorlandobloomfiles.com, and what did I see? On top of the page it said: "Orlando’s West End stage debut in David Storey’s In Celebration will take place at the Duke of York’s from July 5th to September 15th."
WTF??????????
That's the friggin' day before we're going there!!!! JUST ONE MORE DAY PLEASE???
*cries* That's what I get for being an obsessive fangirl!

Spring is fianlly here, and I love it!
Unfortunately, spring does not only bring with it it good stuff. Today the russ (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russ) at our school started their celebration(you should probably, by now, have at least started to read the page on the link. If not, you won't understand a lot unless you're Norwegian). They slept in their vans at the school tonight, just to be there early enough to surprise us coming to school. There they were, lined up, almost 60-70 of them, with waterguns and buckets of water.
Oh joy.
They're supposedly celebrating that they're soon graduating, and by celebrating they mean "drink a lot and make the first 17 days of May a living nightmare(ok, it's not that bad) for the rest of the school".
One of my friends who is russ this year, came over to me at school today and said:"Marte, I'm drunk..." XD
Anyway, she's a riding instructor every friday, but I had to take her classes today. It was boooring.. But at least I earned some money! I might be working for her next friday as well, as she's leaving for a large gathering down in Stavanger(Kongeparken).
Anyhow, it's getting late and I need to get up early tomorrow(I have a "date" with my dressage trainer. Will see if we can get some photos of it!)

I finally got 'Haven' on DVD this week! I've been waiting for it for almost 3 years now! Man!
I loooved it(du-uh, Orlando Bloom is in it! :P )
No, seriously, it's quite a good movie! Got a bit confused in there sometimes, but I enjoyed watching it! :D
And else from me being an "obsessed fangirl", evrything's going just fine! I screwed up on a chemistry test Tuesday, though. But on the other hand, I got a 5 on my Norwegian test on poetical realism! I'm really proud of myself for that, 'cause the test was pretty hard!
And I need some suggestions; We're supposed to read a novel for English class, and then (I think, 'cause our teacher tend to not tell us to much about what to do) write either an analyse or a summary of it. I'm reading Harry Potter and the Halfblooded Prince at the moment, but to write a summary of that book can be quite hard. It is after all the sixth book in series, and then I'll have to tell a bit of what happened in all the other five books for my teacher to understand what's going on. I also have another book called 'Blue Smoke' ( by Nora Roberts). Has anyone of you read that book? Suggestions? Should I continue reading HP or read 'Blue Smoke' instead? Let me know!
